DANSEJÆGER / DANCE HUNTER is a documentary opera about Denmark's first musical anthropologist, Andreas Fridolin Weis Bentzon, who travelled across Europe on his Nimbus motorcycle.
It was said that Ingeborg Sørine Munch sang right from the cradle. In the 1960's, the ethnomusicologist Thorkild Knudsen recorded Ingeborg's memorable folk songs, and with her characteristic way of singing and her personality she became a symbol of a long-extinct musical tradition.
